1 Chronicles

Chapter 10

1 Now the Philistines6430 fought3898 against Israel;3478 and the men376 of Israel3478 fled5127 from before4480 6440 the Philistines,6430 and fell down5307 slain2491 in mount2022 Gilboa.1533

2 And the Philistines6430 followed hard1692 after310 Saul,7586 and after310 his sons;1121 and the Philistines6430 slew5221 853 Jonathan,3129 and Abinadab,41 and Malchi-shua,4444 the sons1121 of Saul.7586

3 And the battle4421 went sore3513 against5921 Saul,7586 and the archers3384 7198 hit4672 him, and he was wounded2342 of4480 the archers.3384

4 Then said559 Saul7586 to413 his armorbearer,5375 3627 Draw8025 thy sword,2719 and thrust me through1856 therewith; lest6435 these428 uncircumcised6189 come935 and abuse5953 me. But his armorbearer5375 3627 would14 not;3808 for3588 he was sore afraid.3372 3966 So Saul7586 took3947 853 a sword,2719 and fell5307 upon5921 it.

5 And when his armorbearer5375 3627 saw7200 that3588 Saul7586 was dead,4191 he1931 fell5307 likewise1571 on5921 the sword,2719 and died.4191

6 So Saul7586 died,4191 and his three7969 sons,1121 and all3605 his house1004 died4191 together.3162

7 And when all3605 the men376 of Israel3478 that834 were in the valley6010 saw7200 that3588 they fled,5127 and that3588 Saul7586 and his sons1121 were dead,4191 then they forsook5800 their cities,5892 and fled:5127 and the Philistines6430 came935 and dwelt3427 in them.

8 And it came to pass1961 on4480 the morrow,4283 when the Philistines6430 came935 to strip6584 853 the slain,2491 that they found4672 853 Saul7586 and his sons1121 fallen5307 in mount2022 Gilboa.1533

9 And when they had stripped6584 him, they took5375 853 his head,7218 and his armor,3627 and sent7971 into the land776 of the Philistines6430 round about,5439 to carry tidings1319 853 unto their idols,6091 and to the people.5971

10 And they put7760 853 his armor3627 in the house1004 of their gods,430 and fastened8628 his head1538 in the temple1004 of Dagon.1712

11 And when all3605 Jabesh-gilead3003 1568 heard8085 853 all3605 that834 the Philistines6430 had done6213 to Saul,7586

12 They arose,6965 all3605 the valiant2428 men,376 and took away5375 853 the body1480 of Saul,7586 and the bodies1480 of his sons,1121 and brought935 them to Jabesh,3003 and buried6912 853 their bones6106 under8478 the oak424 in Jabesh,3003 and fasted6684 seven7651 days.3117

13 So Saul7586 died4191 for his transgression4604 which834 he committed4603 against the LORD,3068 even against5921 the word1697 of the LORD,3068 which834 he kept8104 not,3808 and also1571 for asking7592 counsel of one that had a familiar spirit,178 to inquire1875 of it;

14 And inquired1875 not3808 of the LORD:3068 therefore he slew4191 him, and turned5437 853 the kingdom4410 unto David1732 the son1121 of Jesse.3448

1 Филистимляне сразились с Израилем, и обратились Израильтяне в бегство от Филистимлян, и падали убитые на горе Гилбое.

2 И гнались Филистимляне за Саулом и за сыновьями его, и убили Филистимляне Ионафана и Авинадава и Малхишуя, сыновей Сауловых.

3 И тяжкая битва была близ Саула, и заметили его стреляющие из лука, и он испугался стрельцов.

4 И сказал Саул оруженосцу своему: обнажи меч свой и заколи меня им, чтобы не пришли необрезанные сии и не наругались надо мною. Но оруженосец его не согласился; ибо весьма боялся. Тогда Саул взял меч и пал на него.

5 Оруженосец его, видя, что Саул умер, и сам пал на меч, и умер.

6 Таким образом умер Саул, и три сына его, и весь дом его умер вместе.

7 Все Израильтяне, жившие на долине, видя, что бегут, и что Саул и сыновья его умерли, оставили города свои и разбежались; а Филистимляне пришли и поселились в них.

8 На другой день пришли Филистимляне раздевать убитых, и нашли Саула и сыновей его падших на горе Гилбое.

9 И раздели его, и взяли голову его, и оружие его, и послали по земле Филистимской, чтобы возвестить о сем в храмах идолов своих и в народе.

10 И положили оружие его в храме богов своих, и череп его прибили к стене в храме Дагона.

11 Весь Иавис Галаадский услышал все, что сделали Филистимляне с Саулом.

12 И встали из них все отважнейшие, и взяли тело Саулово и тела сыновей его, и принесли их в Иавис, и похоронили кости их под дубом в Иависе, и постились семь дней.

13 Так умер Саул за свое беззаконие, которое он сделал пред Господом, за то, что не сохранил слова Господа, и искал вызывателя мертвых, чтобы вопросить.

14 А не Господа вопросил: за то Он и умертвил его, и царство передал Давиду, сыну Иессееву.

5 Оруженосец его, видя, что Саул умер, и сам пал на меч, и умер.

11 Весь Иавис Галаадский услышал все, что сделали Филистимляне с Саулом.

12 They arose,6965 all3605 the valiant2428 men,376 and took away5375 853 the body1480 of Saul,7586 and the bodies1480 of his sons,1121 and brought935 them to Jabesh,3003 and buried6912 853 their bones6106 under8478 the oak424 in Jabesh,3003 and fasted6684 seven7651 days.3117

12 И встали из них все отважнейшие, и взяли тело Саулово и тела сыновей его, и принесли их в Иавис, и похоронили кости их под дубом в Иависе, и постились семь дней.

13 So Saul7586 died4191 for his transgression4604 which834 he committed4603 against the LORD,3068 even against5921 the word1697 of the LORD,3068 which834 he kept8104 not,3808 and also1571 for asking7592 counsel of one that had a familiar spirit,178 to inquire1875 of it;

13 Так умер Саул за свое беззаконие, которое он сделал пред Господом, за то, что не сохранил слова Господа, и искал вызывателя мертвых, чтобы вопросить.

14 And inquired1875 not3808 of the LORD:3068 therefore he slew4191 him, and turned5437 853 the kingdom4410 unto David1732 the son1121 of Jesse.3448

14 А не Господа вопросил: за то Он и умертвил его, и царство передал Давиду, сыну Иессееву.
